Taiwan Telematics Industry Pavilion Opens during 2021 TAIEPI AMPA

 

CASE mobility - Connected, Autonomous, Services & Shared, and Electric mobility - is a key trend in future transportation. This trend will revolutionize transportation modes, creating both challenges and opportunities. With the coming of 5G, the mobile network will enhance telematics technology enormously. According to a report by ITRI, the global automotive electronics and telematics market is expected to reach $451 billion by 2023 and 451 $800 billion by 2030. Responding to the trend of CASE mobility, demands for automotive parts and chips increasing, the automotive spotlight will be placed onto AMPA this April 14-17. Along with an in-person physical trade show, the first ever virtual AMPA Online held from April 7 to May 6, providing an avenue for global exhibitors to expand their business further.

 

With the collaboration between TTIA and TAITRA, Taiwan Telematics Industry Pavilion is organized this year to promote the smart applications of commercial and unmanned vehicles. It also shows the deep foundation of the said industry integration and development of IoV Technology. As the global automotive industry anticipates a sharp rise in the electronic content in vehicles, Taiwan boosting its share of this business. Besides the electrification of vehicles, Telematics companies have spearheaded the development of Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) communications capabilities. And everything from in-vehicle infotainment systems to vehicle intelligence (ADAS) and connectivity are contributing to this trend. Taiwan has a chance to become a global leader of smart transportation development.
