Japan approves Level 4 autonomous vehicles
Date: September 11, 2023. — Japan has officially given the green light to Level 4 autonomous vehicles for public use. The town of Eiheiji in Fukui recently introduced passenger service after Japan’s government amended the Road Traffic Act in March of this year to permit level 4 autonomous driving.
