Veoneer and Qualcomm Technologies collaborate have decided to collaborate on developing a platform for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD) solutions, according to press release on 27Aug’20. Veoneer’s perception and driving policy software stack and Qualcomm® Snapdragon Ride™ ADAS/AD scalable portfolio of System on a Chip (SoC), and Accelerators, will be used to create an open platform for Tier-1 suppliers and automakers.

A London bus garage is set to become a “virtual power station” in a trial of new technology. From November, the British government-funded vehicle-to-grid project will take energy from 28 parked zero-emission electric buses and feed it into the grid during times of high energy demand, making the electricity network more efficient.

Tata Motors delivers Tata Tigor EVs to Ministry of AYUSH
India’s leading auto brand Tata Motors partners with the Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH), to deploy Tigor Electric Vehicles (EVs) in Delhi, as a part of its tender with EESL. The first batch of Tigor EVs was handed over to Shri P.N. Ranjit Kumar, Joint Secretary (Admin), Ministry of AYUSH by Mr. Raj Kumar Luthra, General Manager at EESL.
