According to press release on 30th March 2023, Suzuki Motor Corporation has signed a memorandum of understanding with Applied Electric Vehicles Ltd (Headquarters: Australia, CEO: Julian Broadbent, hereinafter “Applied EV”) for the development of autonomous electric vehicle platform.

Applied Information, Inc., a company which is into intelligent transportation infrastructure technology, announced on 5th April 2023 that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has granted it a patent covering its Connected Vehicle computing and communications method that significantly reduces the amount of bandwidth needed for traffic signals and other traffic control devices to communicate with vehicles.
