Over the last few years the company has tested its vehicles in snowy Novi, Michigan, rainy Kirkland, Washington, foggy San Francisco, and of course those dusty haboobs in Phoenix, Arizona. The number of active aftermarket car telematics units is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 20.6 percent from 58.7 million at the end of 2018 to 150.0 million at the end of 2023, according to a new research report from the IoT analyst firm Berg Insight. Aftermarket car telematics solution in this report comprises both cellular/GNSS and RF-based solutions.
