Audi Provides a Fleet of 50 Audi e-tron Cars in WEF Meeting

Audi is providing a fleet of 50 Audi e-tron cars (Combined electric power consumption in kWh/100 km (62.1 mi)*: 26.2 – 22.6 (WLTP); 24.6 – 23.7 (NEFZ); CO2 emissions combined in g/km (g/mi): 0) for the annual meeting in 2019. The all-electric cars are fully powered by green electricity. And with mobile charging containers, the company is demonstrating a potential application of used batteries from electric cars.

 

 

Analog Devices and Hyundai Collaborate on All-Digital Road Noise Cancellation System

Analog Devices has announced a strategic collaboration with Hyundai Motor where Hyundai plans to launch the automotive industry’s first all-digital road noise cancellation system leveraging ADI’s Automotive Audio Bus (A2B®) technology. Hyundai also intends to more broadly adopt ADI’s A2B technology for its fundamental audio connectivity and infotainment applications across its automotive fleet.

Audi of America, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and Qualcomm Technologies, announced plans for initial deployments of Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X) communication on northern Virginia roadways, employing advanced wireless communications to enhance vehicle safety by using the same portion of the 5.9 GHz band that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has proposed to allocate for C-V2X.

 

 

OXIS Energy Confident of Achieving 500Wh/kg with Solid State Lithium Sulfur Technology

OXIS Energy is close to achieving 500Wh/kg and is targeting 600Wh/kg with Solid State Lithium Sulfur technology. The company has successfully tested its cell prototypes at 471Wh/kg and is confident of achieving 500Wh/kg in the next 12 months.
