DENSO and Toyota to Launch JV for Developing Automotive Semiconductors

DENSO and Toyota plan to establish joint venture in April 2020 that will conduct research and advanced development of next-generation in-vehicle semiconductors. The JV is named MIRISE Technologies (“MIRISE”) MIRISE is an acronym for Mobility Innovative Research Institute for SEmiconductors. It also conveys “mirai” (a Japanese word for “future”) and “rise.”
Cubic Telecom, Arrival and Charge Team Up

Electric Vehicle (EV) companies, Arrival and Charge have chosen connectivity management software provider Cubic Telecom to integrate its intelligent connected car solution to their electric commercial vehicle fleet. The solution will be deployed in selected models from 2020 in the UK, with follow-up plans to roll out to Europe and North America.

Strategic Partnership between Quanergy and Geely

Geely, one of the largest automotive companies has selected Quanergy Systems, a provider of LiDAR sensors and smart sensing solutions, as a LiDAR partner. BlackBerry and MARELLI China Collaborate on Digital Cockpit

BlackBerry and MARELLI Electronics China, a Tier 1 automotive supplier, have entered into a strategic collaboration to integrate QNX Platform for Digital Cockpits in MARELLI’s Electronics eCockpit and Digital Cluster solution. The integrated solution is expected to be commercialized by a wide range of MARELLI’s Chinese OEM customers.
