Infraprime Logistics Technologies Launch Fully Electric Heavy Duty Truck in India

A Gurgaon based startup, Infraprime Logistics Technologies is set to launch first fully electric heavy duty truck named as the Rhino 5536. The 60-tonne truck is powered by 276 kilowatt Li ion battery, and has an output of 483 BHP. The company claims the truck has a range of 200 kilometre in a single charge and without any load it can travel upto 400 km. In addition to this, Rhino 5536 has top speed as 90 km/h and gradeability of 20 degrees which is higher than diesel trucks.
Terna and FCA Sign MoU on Electric Mobility and Trial of V2G Services

Terna and FCA EMEA signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the joint trialling of sustainability mobility services and technologies, such as Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G), which enables electric vehicles to interact with the grid via ‘smart’ charging infrastructure.

Aptiv and Hyundai Form Joint Venture on Autonomous Vehicles

Aptiv and Hyundai Motor Group have agreed to form a joint venture that will work on advancing the design, development and commercialization of SAE Level 4 and 5 autonomous technologies. The joint venture will begin testing fully driverless systems in 2020 and have a production-ready autonomous driving platform available for robotaxi providers, fleet operators, and automotive manufacturers in 2022
