Toyota and with Didi Chuxing expands collaboration in MaaS

Toyota has concluded an agreement with Didi Chuxing to expand collaboration in Mobility as a Service (MaaS) in China. As part of this agreement, the automaker will invest 600 million U.S. dollars in DiDi and the companies will establish a joint venture with GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. (GTMC) for vehicle-related services for ride-hailing drivers.

Honda is offering Key by Amazon In-Car Delivery service for subscribers of its HondaLink Remote Services connected-car system. Through the Key by Amazon app, owners of select Honda vehicles with compatible HondaLink Remote Package and Amazon Prime membership can now opt to have their packages delivered to their vehicles.

COAST Autonomous selects Ouster OS1 Lidar

COAST Autonomous has signed an MOU with LIDAR manufacturer Ouster. As COAST begins to ramp up production of self-driving passenger shuttles and autonomous utility vehicles, Ouster’s LIDAR solution will be a critical component in its technology stack. The company will use the Ouster OS1 LIDAR primarily for vehicle localization and obstacle detection.
