Toyota, DENSO and SoftBank to invest $1 Billion in Uber ATG

Toyota, DENSO and the SoftBank Vision Fund (SVF) announced recently that they will invest $1 billion in Uber Technologies Inc.’s Advanced Technologies Group. The investment, in a newly formed ATG corporate entity, aims to accelerate the development and commercialization of automated ridesharing services.

Tata Technologies has entered into a strategic partnership with FutureMove Automotive, a Chinese enterprise specializing in connected services. The companies together plan to develop comprehensive and unique connected mobility solutions for automotive manufacturers in China and worldwide. The companies signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Auto Shanghai, the biggest auto fair of the South East Asia region.

 

 

Aeva partners with Audi’s AID

Aeva, a company building the next-generation sensing system for autonomous vehicles, recently announced a partnership with AID-Autonomous Intelligent Driving GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AUDI AG and the “center of excellence” for Volkswagen Group’s autonomous driving system, to bring “groundbreaking” 4D LiDAR to its autonomous vehicle program.
