V2X technology by JLR to help drivers avoid red lights

Jaguar Land Rover has developed a Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2X) technology that will help drivers avoid red lights. The Green Light Optimal Speed Advisory (GLOSA) system allows cars to “talk” to traffic lights and inform the driver the speed they should drive as they approach junctions or signals.

Continental and EasyMile to work together on solutions for driverless mobility

Technology Company Continental has signed an MoU with EasyMile, a pioneer in the development of autonomous vehicle solutions. As part of the collaboration a joint R&D team from both the companies will commence work on solutions for driverless mobility at the Singapore corporate building.

Trial of Mobileye’s safety technology

Abellio London, one of London’s leading bus operators, has launched a major trial of safety technology from Mobileye.
The trial is supported by Transport for London (TfL) through a grant from its Bus Safety Innovation Fund. Focused on reducing bus collisions with cyclists, motorcycles, pedestrians and other road users, the trial’s findings to date show the Mobileye collision avoidance technology has reduced avoidable collisions by 29 percent and reduced injuries from such collisions by 60 percent.
