(Telematics Update) Volvo explain how to work with app developers

In order to find value in hosting content in the car, automakers must work harmoniously with third-party developers to design mobile-grade applications for in-vehicle infotainment (IVI).

Last week Telematics Update hosted a webinar where experts from Volvo Cars and the World Wide Web Consortium analysed methods to increase app interoperability between OEMs’ architectures by offering universal APIs and using HTML5 to entice developers to move towards the auto environment.
