Wind River to Showcase Autonomous Solutions at CES 2020

Wind River, a company that delivers software for the intelligent edge, will exhibit a technology showcase at the Consumer Electronics Show 2020. According to the company, demonstrations will highlight technologies that advance intelligent and autonomous systems as well as security, safety and reliability across markets including automotive, avionics, industrial, medical, and telecommunications.

Innoviz, a manufacturer of Solid-state Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) sensors and Perception Software, has selected the Weka File System (WekaFS) to accelerate its Artificial Intelligence (AI) and deep learning workflows. WekaFS, a product of WekaIO, a company the works in the field of file storage for data-intensive applications, will improve application performance at scale and deliver high bandwidth I/O to its GPU cluster.

Qatar Investment Authority and Volkswagen AG have announced autonomous, electric transport initiative to transform urban mobility in Qatar. At the Doha Forum in Qatar, in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar and representatives of Volkswagen AG the parties signed ‘Project Qatar Mobility’. The signing was witnessed by several Qatari ministers, dignitaries and high representatives of Qatar and Germany.
