SEAT Working on Project that Enables Car Communicate with Traffic Lights

A project sponsored by SEAT, the Spanish Traffic Authority (DGT), the Barcelona City Council and ETRA (Electronic Trafic) connects vehicles with traffic lights and information panels via the DGT 3.0 platform. The DGT 3.0 platform keeps road users connected by informing them of real-time traffic status, diversions, and reversible lanes, application of measures for pollution protocols, traffic restrictions, road works being carried out and any type of incident that may affect traffic circulation.

 

 

Seedland Group Deploys UGV Hachi Auto into Residential Communities in China

Seedland Group, one of China’s top real estate firms, recently deployed Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) into residential communities in China. The group applied Hachi Auto, an autonomous vehicle for smart communities, in one of its communities “Boston Ivy” in early November 2019. This is the first of its kind initiative in China that would allow the community residents to experience the convenience brought by technological innovation. The initiative is part of Seedland’s Smart Life System to promote world-changing technology innovation.

Lucid Motors Starts Construction of its Electric Vehicle Factory at Arizona

Lucid Motors has started construction of its electric vehicle manufacturing facility in Casa Grande, Arizona. The first phase of factory construction, representing an investment of over $300 million, is scheduled for completion in late 2020 in readiness for the start of production of Lucid’s first car, the Lucid Air which is a 1,000-horsepower electric luxury sedan capable of over 400 miles range and 0-60 mph in under 2.5 seconds.
